Your Role  

Ready to drive real change across an entire business? IIA is looking for a strategic and innovative Principal, Automation to transform how we operate. In this high-impact role, you’ll develop and implement an automation strategy that aligns with our strategic objectives and risk appetite, streamlining business processes and reducing manual work across the intermediated insurance value chain.

 

You’ll collaborate closely with IAG technology leaders and external experts to explore emerging automation platforms, while working cross-functionally across IIA to identify, implement, and continuously improve automation solutions. Your efforts will unlock operational efficiency, improve consistency, and set a new standard for process excellence.

 

You’ll also ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements, maintain clear documentation, and track success through performance metrics to demonstrate the impact of automation to senior leadership.

About You  

  • Tertiary qualification(s) in Information Technology or related fields, and specialist certifications.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing process automation strategies in a business environment.
  • Strong technology industry knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Proven experience in a robotics transformation project.
  • Hands-on experience in full life cycle of automation solution implementation.
  • Experience with robotics technology platforms.
  • Commercial experience using automation tools.
  • An understanding of Robotics Automation architecture.
  • Experience with creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of working.
  • Knowledge and experience of agile principles (SAFe and Scrum).
