Your Role
Do you have a passion for pricing and want to lead several major Pricing projects at IAG? We’re well on the way to deliver our vision, which is to have the best Pricing capability in the world.
You'll join a large and diverse team of pricing professionals and will enjoy the challenge of working on a ground-breaking, innovative project with a high level of exposure across the organisation. There will be ample opportunities to design and deliver creative solutions to challenging problems whilst learning from the best, in a very supportive environment.
Some key responsibilities and requirements of the role:
- Lead the planning, build and delivery of strategic pricing projects
- Thought leadership and design of Earnix pricing algorithms and models to support Retail Insurance Australia’s long-term pricing strategy
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the business including product teams, portfolio teams, data and technology teams to inform optimal pricing strategies
- Develop and lead a team of high performing pricing analysts and specialists, delivering value to IAG through pricing capability and risk management
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, and we welcome applicants from Naarm (Melbourne), Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Meanjin (Brisbane).
About You
We’re recruiting across a range of experience and recognise the value of diversity in skills and approaches. Here are some of the desirable skills and qualifications to be successful in our team:
- Proven ability to display multi-dimensional thinking when solving problems
- Ability to present technical information to a broad audience, developing quality documents including business case and post-implementation review reports
- Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end Pricing value chain, including the external competitive and regulatory environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and have exceptional flexibility of approach, being able to stay focussed when directions change without notice
- Proven Management Experience
- Experience working in a project/agile operating environment
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
