Support Engineer

The Role 
As one of our CLP Support Engineers, you will be a key member of the CLP Operations team and provide day to day operational support, to our Customer Loyalty Platform.  Ensuring the stable operation of the Customer Loyalty Platform is maintained as we transform and build the platform in line with our strategic priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support as part of the CLP Operations team responsible for supporting our Group-wide capabilities in:
  • Customer Identity and Access Management (Okta)
  • Customer Payments (Adyen)
  • Consent and Data Privacy
  • Loyalty Application
  • Adherence to our IT Service Operations processes (Incident, Problem, Change), including documenting and updating Standard Operating Procedures and technical documentation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, building meaningful relationships with our vendor partners and CLP DevOps teams, to provide overall functional support
  • Included on the 24x7 rotating on-call schedule for the Operations Team, to provide Severity 1 Incident Support for IAG teams
  • Responsible for providing first and second level business hours technical support to other IAG teams for incident resolution
  • Proactively monitor for incidents, demand, and capacity across the platform to deliver on SLOs.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of and use of IT Service Operations processes (Incident, Problem and Change) and tools, ServiceNow
  • Experience of monitoring tools and relevant search queries for detailed analysis:
  • Splunk
  • New Relic (including synthetic transactions)
  • Graylog
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (bamboo, docker, rancher)
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies e.g. Okta, auth0
  • API gateway knowledge (we use Apigee)
  • Cloud technologies (AWS) and Certification
  • Supporting containerised applications (Kubernetes)
