The Role  

As one of our Customer Loyalty Program (CLP) Site Reliability Engineers, you will be a key member of the CLP team and provide support, to our Customer Loyalty Platform.  Working alongside the DevOps teams, ensuring the stable operation of the Customer Loyalty Platform and mobile application is maintained, as we build and grow the platform. 


This is a great opportunity to be in at the start of our journey, with no legacy tech to worry about, it’s all shiny and new!  Using cloud base technologies (AWS/Apigee) and Kubernetes and working with key vendors like Okta and Adyen, supporting a large customer base.  Come and have your input on how we do things! 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Key team member within the CLP Operations team responsible for supporting our Group-wide capabilities in:
    • Customer Identity and Access Management (Okta) 
    • Customer Payments (Adyen) 
    • Consent and Data Privacy 
    • Loyalty Mobile Application 
  • Detailed troubleshooting and resolution of a complex ecosystem 
  • Identify and implement areas for continual improvement 
  • IT Service Operations processes (Incident, Problem, Change), including documenting and updating Standard Operating Procedures and technical documentation 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, building meaningful relationships with our vendor partners and CLP DevOps teams, to provide overall support 
  • Responsible for providing support with other IAG teams for incident resolution 
  • Proactively monitor for incidents, demand, and capacity across the platform to deliver on SLOs. 


Skills & Experience 

  • 5+ years’ experience providing support or development (2nd/3rd line) 
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (bamboo, docker, rancher) 
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies e.g., Okta, auth0 and Active Directory Federation 
  • API gateway knowledge (we use Apigee) 
  • Cloud technologies (AWS) and Certification 
  • Supporting containerised applications (Kubernetes) 
  • Understanding of and use of IT Service Operations processes and tools, ServiceNow 
  • Experience of monitoring tools and relevant SQL search queries for detailed analysis: 
    • Splunk 
    • New Relic (including synthetic transactions) 
    • Graylog
