Regional Sales Representative

The Role 
Reporting to the Distribution Manager NSW/ACT, Agri & SME Solutions WFI, the focus of this role is to achieve profitable growth by building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and Staff. Responsible for managing a WFI portfolio, you will be accountable for developing a portfolio that includes both renewals and new business.   This role adds value through alliance partners and the communities in which we operate. Maximising referral opportunities, you will be responsible for business growth in line with budgets and risk appetite.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strong client and policy retention rates
  • Attending Networking Opportunities with Alliance partners and industry-based groups
  • Growth of profitable New Business 
  • Develop and enhance the WFI brand, position and profile through quality client interactions and a high focus on personalized client service and solutions
  • Implement business development and distribution strategies through the creation of annual business plans, to deliver required business objectives – Profitability, GWP, Retention, New Customers and NPS   
  • Represent WFI at industry, customer, and community events 
  • Apply Underwriting Guidelines and rating principles to ensure risks meet the required standard and make certain that pricing and exposure are managed effectively
  • Comply with regulatory and ethical standards and proactively take action to minimise and address risk to our client’s, staff and alliances


Skills & Experience

  • Preferred 3+ years insurance and/or financial services experience
  • Preferred Certificate IV Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and customer relationship management  
  • Experience in a complex sales environment 
  • Driver’s license 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • General computer skills
