Communications and Change Advisor

The Role 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Communications and Change to join IAG’s Group Technology team for a 6-month Fixed term contract. In this role you will act as the tactical communications and change specialist supporting the Manager, Strategic Initiatives Communications and Change. 
This role will execute the implementation of communications strategies and plans relating to the program, responsible for the creation of assts for use across the IAG Group. 
Your success in this role will rely greatly on your ability to gain the confidence and support of key stakeholders. As such, it is important that you are a collaborative, enthusiastic and passionate individual who possesses exceptional communication skills and who can confidently negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels.  

 

Key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement internal communication and change outputs as part of the overall program strategy. 
  • Partner with divisional leaders and support teams to enable their understanding and support of the program’s objectives. 
  • Use measurement and feedback to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Proactively identify reputational/ cultural issues which may impact the program and our people across the organisation, developing recommendations to facilitate change in partnership with the Manager, Strategic Initiatives Communications and Change. 
  • Provide communications advice and support to the program team relating to key project milestones, initiatives, and other issues. 
  • Provide communication advice and tools for teams who support our employees.
  • Identify opportunities to communicate how the program is supporting IAG’s strategy and purpose.
  • Collaborate with other programs and teams to pursue opportunities to integrate our key messages and strategies. 

 

Skills & Experience

  • You will have experience in internal corporate operational communications – working with large complex companies.
  • Experience in corporate operational transformations and/ or major change projects.
  • Experience in implementing communications strategies and plans and delivering a wide range of tailored communications to diverse audiences, including executives, senior stakeholders, and operational teams. 
  • Strong Business acumen 
  • Strong communications skills 
  • Organised, with self-motivated attention to detail and forward planning. 
  • Proven ability to actively keep abreast of changes and translate into your specific work and priorities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions to reach a common approach. 
  • Degree Qualification in Communications or a related field.
