Consultant, Sales & Service

The Role

 

We currently have multiple opportunities for Sales and Service Consultant to join the IAG team located in Perth. In this position you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from new and existing customers to assist them in choosing the right coverage for their business insurance needs. To be successful in this position you will be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills, strong ability to build rapport and identify sales opportunities that are in line with customer’s needs.

These roles will commence on 6th April and require full time availability to work between during operation hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. 

 

Key Responsibilities


    Create a connection with your customer by understanding their needs
    Up sell and cross sell insurance products by promoting the benefits to our customers
    Manage customer calls in a timely and efficient manner
    Attend and partake in the office-based training and team meetings. 
    Demonstrate IAG values and behaviours


Skills & Experience

 

    The ability to multi task and confidently manage multiple technologies
    Strong customer focus and ability to connect with customer
    A proactive approach and resilience to overcome customer objection
    An acumen for sales
    Experience working towards Key Performance Indicators 
    Relevant industry experience is desired but not essential
