Your Role
As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality Salesforce solutions that drive business transformation and innovation, fostering long-term relationships with stakeholders. In this role, you'll guide and mentor Salesforce developers and admins, collaborating with the Salesforce architect to ensure solution quality through code reviews and check-ins. Your focus will be on continuous improvement and best practices, identifying technical improvements, gaps and upgrades and minimizing tech debt.
Your expertise in designing and building scalable, reusable frameworks, guidance on security best practices, integration patterns, coding standards and troubleshooting will be crucial. You’ll provide ongoing support, stay updated on new Salesforce features, and recommend process improvements. Additionally, managing Salesforce releases, environments, data migrations and being the key escalation point for any technical issues.
This is a permanent role, and we welcome applicants from Naarm (Melbourne).
About You
You have delivered solid solutions to complex problems and can provide consistent, high-quality solutions, with a passion for Salesforce.
- Prior experience as a Salesforce tech lead
- Proven experience with the Sales & Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Omnistudio package, integrating Salesforce to other systems via Mulesoft and/or custom APIs, Conga and CI/CD tools.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications: App Builder, Administrator, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II must have, System Architect or Application Architect nice to have
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of developers & admins, ensuring the quality and efficiency of Salesforce implementations.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Development and Configuration: Develop custom applications, integrations, and configurations using Salesforce technologies like Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning. Expert knowledge of Process builder, Flow, Workflows, Approvals, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visual Force Pages, SOQL & SOSL, Data Loader, Lightning Component Framework, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Lightning Design System, Lightning App Builder.
- System Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring data consistency and efficient workflows. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
- Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of Salesforce systems.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
