Your Role  
 
As a Product Manager for People Platforms, you will ensure Operational excellence and continuous improvement of Technology Services through the management and development of the People Platforms at IAG. You will be responsible for establishing the relevance of the People technologies within the rest of the enterprise. As a Product Manager, you will have the overall accountability of the People Platforms and provide leadership and oversight to the Product team, ensuring the team is aligned to business strategy and the People technology roadmap, which includes being across emerging technologies and how they might fit into the People tech roadmap. 


You will manage the overarching governance of the platform across the business and will be responsible to set the direction and strategic vision for the platform. You will be empowered with the authority to make decisions that impact the platform and do so in alignment to the business strategy and governance.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Define and drive the roadmap, features, and priorities for the People Platforms.
  • Manage SAP and associated PPR tooling, and all other PPR systems and toolsets and integrate with other toolsets as required
  • Contribute to the development of a simplified Enterprise management strategy.
  • Apply and embed Product Ownership principles, ensuring compliance with the Well Managed Framework, including all delivery and operations across the technology systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation of processes and technologies within and outside the team.
  • Effectively manage service assets to optimise cost and utility.
  • Drive innovative change by understanding market practices and leveraging data to enhance product functionality, leading the product team with a focus on delivering early and continuous value.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure the stable operation of platforms while enhancing them in line with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure a customer-centric focus in all product practices, principles, and decisions.

About You  


The successful candidate will have:  

 

•    Excellent Technical Acumen and an understanding of operational / service processes to design, build and support reliable solutions 
•    Experience using agile techniques to plan and deliver work in sprints; ie defining a definition of done, estimating, capacity planning and defining User Stories and acceptance criteria 
•    Strong understanding of Product Management disciplines, including Human-Centered Design (HCD), experimentation, and lean startup methodologies.
•    Extensive experience in technology management.
•    Proven track record in managing large and complex initiatives/projects across multi-disciplined teams.
•    Expertise in ERP systems and Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
•    Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Fundamentals.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
•    High level of attention to detail and accuracy
