Sales & Service Consultant

The Role

We have multiple 6-month contract opportunities available for Sales and Service Consultants to join our Satellite team located in Melbourne. In this position you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from new and existing customers to assist them in choosing the right coverage for their Home, Landlord and Motor insurance needs. To be successful in this position you will be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills, strong ability to build rapport and identify sales opportunities that are in line with customer’s needs.

 

Commencing on 1st March 2021, these positions offer fulltime hours working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and require successful applicants to be flexible in working from home and in the Melbourne CBD office.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a connection with your customer by understanding their needs
  • Up sell and cross sell insurance products by promoting the benefits to our customers
  • Manage customer calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Attend and partake in the office-based training and team meetings.
  • Demonstrate IAG values and behaviours

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • The ability to multi task and confidently manage multiple technologies
  • Strong customer focus and ability to connect with customer
  • A proactive approach and resilience to overcome customer objection
  • An acumen for sales
  • Experience working towards Key Performance Indicators
