Your Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be key in connecting our technical and business teams.
Your responsibilities will include analysing data, understanding complex back-end systems, and drafting detailed requirements. Your expertise in Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) will be vital to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and insights that support business decisions, while collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
- System Understanding & CIAM Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of back-end systems and their interactions, applying your knowledge of Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) to inform project requirements and designs.
- Documentation & Requirement Writing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS), while writing clear and concise requirements for various audiences (business stakeholders, developers, and testers).
- Technical Expertise & Communication: Use tools like Swagger for API documentation and create sequence diagrams to illustrate system processes, while serving as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Problem Solving & Project Support: Identify and resolve issues or roadblocks that arise during development, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
This is permanent role that is based in Gadigal Country (Sydney).
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on data analysis and understanding of back-end systems.
- Familiarity with Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) solutions and identity management principles.
- Familiarity with Okta for IAM processes is preferred.
- Proven ability to write detailed business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
- Experience with Swagger for API documentation and creating sequence diagrams, and other in other tools including JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
