YOUR ROLE
As part of the Group Risk division, you'll assist the Regulatory Affairs team in managing engagements with key regulators and regulatory risks to ensure IAG meets both current and future regulatory expectations.
You'll coordinate and support interactions with regulators and internal stakeholders, ensuring IAG is responsive, well-prepared, and aligned with regulatory expectations. Your role will involve providing support for regulatory meetings, information requests, and a range of requirements in order to champion a proactive regulatory engagement strategy.
Additionally, you'll take a leading role in governance, controls, and operational disciplines to ensure IAG fulfills all regulatory commitments to the relevant regulators.
This is a permanent role based in Gadigal country (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a similar or related role within a Financial Services context. (Insurance, Banking, Superannuation), or working with or for a relevant regulator.
- Relevant tertiary or professional qualification/s in business, legal, economics or related fields
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes.
- Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to actively keep abreast of changes in external environment and translate into internal environment and actions.
