Your Role 

As a Principal HR Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the creation and implementation of divisional people plans across our People, Performance and Reputation business unit, which includes HR, Corporate Affairs, and Sustainability. You’ll partner with Executive General Managers and their leadership teams to achieve a high-performance culture and deliver an exceptional people experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement divisional people plans in alignment with the IAG Group People Strategy. 
  • Lead and embed group-wide People & Culture strategic projects and initiatives. 
  • Provide strategic counsel and coaching to senior leaders on people and culture matters. 
  • Act as a key subject matter expert for P&C programs, ensuring divisional needs are met. 
  • Drive approved people initiatives to build a future-ready workforce. 
  • Apply risk governance and mitigation strategies to support change and transformation. 
  • Utilise strategic data and insights to influence business decisions. 
  • Mentor and guide Consultant HR Business Partners on strategic initiatives.

About You 

  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources or people leadership in complex environments. 
  • Proven HR business partnering experience with senior leaders. 
  • Ability to link strategic goals with operational decisions. 
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and complexity, with effective communication skills. 
  • Energetic, commercial, and pragmatic approach to business growth and sustainability. 
  • Project management skills for process ownership and optimization. 
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
