YOUR ROLE     

In this exciting role, you'll lead sustainability initiatives at IAG, focusing on decarbonisation and sustainable claims supply chain opportunities. You'll drive large-scale climate projects, collaborate with senior leaders, and ensure these initiatives are prioritised and embraced.

You'll work with the Property and Procurement teams to meet renewable energy targets and integrate sustainability into procurement. Additionally, you'll partner with the Insurance Supply Chain and Claims teams to develop a sustainable claims management approach.

Your responsibilities include managing IAG’s carbon strategy, building business cases, and demonstrating the benefits of climate projects.

This is a permanent full-time role open to our offices in Gadigal Country (Sydney) & Naarm (Melbourne)⁠.

ABOUT YOU      

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria: 

   
•    Proven background in large energy consulting firms and corporate settings, with expertise in renewable energy
•    Expertise in environmental sustainability, managing large supply chains, and understanding the energy sector and its transition
•    In-depth knowledge and experience in net zero, energy, operational sustainability, and project management
•    Demonstrated ability to build commercial business cases with clearly defined environmental, social, and business value
•    Highly developed skills in communication, influencing, and negotiating
•    Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, business case development, and strategic planning. Ability to effectively sell a message and bring people on a journey.
