Pricing Projects Manager

Your Role 

Joining the NRMA Retail Pricing Team, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of new pricing initiatives within the Pricing Strategy Program across personal lines products in the Retail division. This includes managing the development of pricing models, algorithms, natural perils pricing, data feeds, and technology management to improve overall pricing capability. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the Program Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals while managing interdependencies with adjacent programs.

You’ll also lead a large pricing team, fostering skill development, cohesion, and engagement to achieve project objectives. You’ll ensure implementation of sophisticated pricing solutions that adhere to governance policies and engage with relevant stakeholders and governance forums, ultimately driving the strategic success of the pricing initiatives.

This is a 24-month max term contract, and we welcome applicants from Meanjin (Brisbane), Naarm (Melbourne) and Gadigal Country (Sydney)  

About You 

• Strong ability to manage complexity, solve problems, and navigate multiple project interdependencies in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in communicating complex, quantitative analysis clearly and actionable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to develop and leverage key relationships across teams.
• Proven experience leading a team of leaders who manage analytical experts, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Extensive background in pricing strategy, risk management, and successfully managing complex pricing initiatives.
• Deep expertise in pricing models, algorithms, data feeds, and technology management to deliver robust pricing solutions.
