Your Role 

Do you have a passion for pricing and want to lead a major Pricing project at IAG? We’re well on the way to deliver our vision, which is to have the best Pricing capability in the world.

 

You will join a large and diverse team of pricing professionals and will enjoy the challenge of working on a ground-breaking, innovative project with a high level of exposure across the organisation. There will be ample opportunities to design and deliver creative solutions to challenging problems whilst learning from the best, in a very supportive environment.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead the planning, build and delivery of a strategic pricing project
  • Thought leadership and design of Earnix pricing algorithms and models to support RIA’s long-term pricing strategy
  • Working with a range of stakeholders across the business including product teams, portfolio teams, data and technology teams to inform optimal pricing strategies
  • Develop and lead a team of high performing pricing analysts and specialists, delivering value to IAG through pricing capability and risk management

 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, and we welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).

 

About You 

  • Proven ability to display multi-dimensional thinking when solving problems
  • Ability to present technical information to a broad audience, developing quality documents including business case and post-implementation review reports
  • Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end Pricing value chain, including the external competitor and regulatory environment
  • Experience working in a project/agile operating environment with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and have exceptional flexibility of approach, being able to stay focussed when directions change without notice
  • Proven management and stakeholder management experience with the strong influencing and negotiation skills
