Your Role
This exciting senior-level role offers the unique opportunity to shape and drive IAG’s procurement strategy, aligning it with the company’s commercial objectives and strategic priorities. You’ll take charge of strategic supplier management and category planning, unlocking opportunities to optimize significant corporate spend and maximize value from IAG’s key supplier relationships.
In addition to overseeing high-impact procurement initiatives, you’ll provide leadership and mentorship across the Corporate Procurement function, collaborating with internal teams to proactively address business needs.
You’ll play a pivotal role in monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and supporting crucial decision-making processes that enhance cost efficiency and governance, ultimately contributing to IAG’s ongoing success and growth.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned procurement expert with the following skills and experiences;

Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing and/or supplier relationship management within a corporate context.

Advanced proficiency across all elements of supplier relationship management relevant to large, complex suppliers, e.g. contract management, commercial management, risk management.

Advanced understanding of category management and external supplier market trends, preferably within a Financial Services environment.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence, facilitate and participate in cross-functional teams, and a strong drive for results and delivering outcomes.

High level of commercial acumen and problem-solving skills, with exceptional commercial negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships with senior stakeholders, influence decisions, and drive change.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to a diverse range of stakeholders, as well as strong facilitation skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and responding to change.
This position is a permanent, full-time opportunity to be based in Sydney ideally.
