YOUR ROLE
The Specialist, On Demand, Executive Assistant (internally referred to as Specialist, On Demand, Executive Support), provides proactive and efficient support to Executive Managers and General Managers across IIA. This role is unique within the IIA Executive Support team that will give exposure to a wide range of teams for accelerated career development opportunities being central in implementing and tracking IIA-wide culture initiatives. You will have the stability of a familiar team to connect with and new teams where you can be included in new/different conversations and learnings. You’ll enable Executives to focus on strategic decision-making and business growth by anticipating their needs and working both independently and collaboratively.
Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, you’ll resolve queries and adapt to support business strategy. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement, enhance the executive team's productivity, and manage internal/external communications. The role also involves supporting site-specific needs and fostering engagement through divisional culture initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational values and monitoring progress through measurable outcomes.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to all our IAG offices in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) and Meanjin (Brisbane).
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
• Business administration or other relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• Background in financial services or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to drive success.
• Cultivates innovation by proactively identifying issues, developing solutions and continually looking for process improvements supported by technology.
