Your Role     


 

As a Manager, Process Excellence you will be a leader in process improvement and innovation, your main goal is to enhance operational efficiency at IIA. You will focus on optimizing processes, driving automation initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with various teams across IIA and the wider Group to implement process excellence strategies and support IIA’s strategic goals. 

 

 

The key responsibilities of this role will be: -  

 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency. 
  • Promote best practices using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. 
  • Conduct process analysis and optimization to eliminate waste. 
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using RPA, AI, and machine learning. 
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to drive improvements. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support. 

 

 

This is a permanent full-time opportunity open to candidates based anywhere in Australia.  

   

 

About You     

 

 

The successful candidate will have:  

 

  • Demonstrated experience in the general insurance industry with a strong understanding of all parts of the insurance value chain.  
  • Proven experience in process improvement, process optimisation, and automation.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).  
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies such as RPA, AI, and machine learning.  
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.  
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.  
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
