YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for a dynamic leader with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills to bridge the gap between Technology & Operations and our intermediated divisions. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure seamless coordination of technology changes, risk management, and commercial activities while providing governance, prioritization, and oversight.
Success in this role requires strong communication, adaptability, and strategic thinking. You will proactively manage stakeholder relationships, streamline processes, and navigate complex priorities, embedding this function into our organization’s future growth. Your leadership will be key in influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving effective change management across the organization.
This is a permanent position based near any of our major centres in Australia or New Zealand.
ABOUT YOU
The right candidate will be the kind of person who creates impact, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You will also have;
- A strong understanding of technology change processes, including risk assessment and mitigation
- In-depth knowledge of technology-related risk frameworks and governance practices
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial reporting in a technology environment
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are highly desirable
- A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in technology management or a similar role
- Expertise in developing and driving highly effective engagement and change plans
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands from diverse stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights
- Proficiency in tools for workforce planning, project management, reporting, and financial tracking (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Jira, Jira Align or similar)
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, essential for fostering collaboration and motivating teams
- Experience coaching or mentoring agile processes within teams
- A demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, managing multiple teams and responding to dynamic business and technical conditions
