Your Role  

As a HR Business Partnering Consultant, you’ll support our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) People, Capability and Communications team, with the implementation of key people initiatives aligned to the Group People Strategy and the IIA people plan. You’ll partner with our senior business leaders, and Centre of Expertise (CoE) teams across the Group to drive and execute strategic programs of work underpinning the IIA’s Strategy. 

 

You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, aligning people strategy with business strategy, and championing a competitive organization. 

 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Sydney or Melbourne.  

 

​ About You  

  • Solid and demonstrated experience working in Human Resource roles and team, or similar environments.  
  • Experience in leading operational structure changes and restructures in a complex environment (preferably in Financial Services).  
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative, advisory, and mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.  
  • ​Ability to structure and manage projects to meet time, cost and quality expectations by applying sound planning, organisation, influencing, and risk management practices and frameworks.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to extract, analyse and interpret trends and insights.  
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Human Resources.
