Your Role

 

This role is designed to enhance the identification, assessment, and management of fraud risks, supporting Fraud & Investigations in achieving its strategic objectives while strengthening business operational resilience. In doing so, it contributes to greater value across the customer journey and the insurance value chain.
As the primary liaison between the Australian insurance business and the Fraud & Investigations team, you will ensure effective Business Continuity management and alignment with divisional priorities. You will share relevant insights with stakeholders across business and risk teams, increasing awareness and preparedness for emerging fraud and operational risks.
Additionally, you will collaborate with CF&I teams and broader risk and business continuity functions to support the identification, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of fraud risks across the customer journey and insurance value chain.

 

This is a permanent role open to candidates based anywhere in Australia. 

 

About You

•    Experience in fraud management or risk management within a complex corporate environment.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels, including senior leaders, managers, and subject matter experts.
•    Proven ability to align strategic goals with operational decisions to drive effective risk management coupled with Sound understanding of fraud and corruption risks within the general insurance industry.
•    Demonstrated capability in building and maintaining collaborative, mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders to support fraud risk mitigation and strategic objectives.
•    Expertise in designing effective controls to address both current and emerging risks coupled with practical knowledge of relevant laws, legislation, and industry codes.
•    Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., risk management, law, criminology, intelligence, commerce) is desirable.
