YOUR ROLE     

 

As an EM, Risk Advisory, you will be a key enabler and strategic Line 2 partner to IAG’s Intermediated Insurance Australia and Corporate Services divisions.  Your focus will be on major change programs in those divisions with a particular emphasis on the Commercial Enablement program. 

 

Your role will be the primary link between Group Risk and the programs.  You will work closely with the business to enable the successful delivery of the programs’ objectives while meeting the requirements of IAG’s Risk Management Frameworks. 

 

In this role, you will work closely with Risk Advisory colleagues, program delivery teams, Line 1 risk and with the programs’ business sponsors. You will support the uplift of the control environment by linking program design to current risk opportunities, oversight and challenge delivery risk and provide insightful, independent perspectives on the delivered risk outcomes.  You will assist with the development of appropriate line 2 rhythms with each program.

 

This is a permanent full-time role based in either Gadigal Country (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne)⁠.

ABOUT YOU      

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria: 


   
•    Line 2 experience oversighting major business and technology change programs, or similar experience in professional services firms.
•    Strong understanding of risks in operational processes, effective design and operation of controls and sound risk management practices in large, complex organisations.
•    Financial Services experience, preferably in the general insurance sector.
•    Appropriate tertiary qualifications with 10 to 15 years of business-related experience.
•    Ability to clearly identify and articulate issues, their context and necessary next steps, to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
•    Confidence, self-awareness, and nimble learning with a focus on people and talent development and driving vision and purpose.
