Your Role 

Joining NRMA’s Digital Experience team, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading a matrix team to orchestrate the delivery of strategic digital initiatives. This hybrid role combines both product development and a strong focus on delivering initiatives that provide significant business value.

In this role, you’ll lead discovery, shape the product vision, and develop MVPs while collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise customer experience, strategic initiative delivery and drive digital transformation. You’ll work closely with the business unit to evolve the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and addressing complex challenges.

Day to day, you’ll prioritise the Squad backlog in alignment with objectives and collaborate with core partners to refine and manage day-to-day delivery. You’ll develop and drive the end-to-end delivery plan, and oversee resource allocation, benefits tracking, milestones, and risk management.  

Leading the squad, you'll manage agile/hybrid activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, while fostering continuous improvement and growth in agile maturity. Additionally, you’ll ensure transparency in progress, manage interdependencies across squads, and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and successful initiative completion. 

This is a full-time 12-month Max Term Contract opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to our IAG office locations, with a preference for Gadigal Country (Sydney). 

About You 

To excel in this role, you should ideally bring:

• Experience in driving strategy and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of the organization.
• Proven experience in digital program delivery and project management.
• Strong experience in Agile methodology (SCRUM certification preferred).
• A track record of leading high-performing matrix teams to deliver impactful work.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage complexity, negotiate trade-offs, and adapt to change.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills across various levels of the organization, with a demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively.
• A focus on creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of working.
