Your Role
Are you ready to lead and drive digital transformation within Direct Insurance Australia? We're looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to head up a matrix team, delivering key digital strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our business and enhance customer experiences.
You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless delivery of high-impact digital change. Your focus will be on delivering measurable business outcomes, improving agile and hybrid delivery capabilities, and ensuring the successful completion of key milestones and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Orchestrate: Lead a matrix team to deliver assigned digital initiatives, driving collaboration across various functions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and negotiating effectively to achieve business and customer goals.
- Agile Transformation: Foster an agile mindset and help elevate hybrid delivery capabilities across the team and broader organization.
- Delivery Focus: Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring milestones, timelines, and identified benefits are met to the highest standards.

This position is a 12 month fixed term position, full-time opportunity to be based in Sydney ideally.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in digital program delivery and project management.
- Experience in Agile methodology or SCRUM certified
- Demonstrated experience leading high performance matrix teams in the delivery of work.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complexity, negotiation trade-offs and navigating ambiguity and responding to change
- Strong influencing skills across various level of the organisation and demonstrated experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively to deliver key programs of work
- Experience with creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of working
