YOUR ROLE 

 

We are looking for 3 Business Information Security Advisors  (titled as Principal, Business Information Security Advisor)  to focus on supporting different business units in IAG.

 

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Cyber Security Architecture and Advice, the BISA roles will have the following key responsibilities: - 

 

  • As one of the most senior Cyber subject matter experts in the function, provide guidance and consulting advice to the business area and the business unit CIO. 
  • Guide the aligned business area in relation to the assessment of Cyber risk posture and risks related to business change (usually before a formal project is created), new opportunities, initiatives and 3rd parties.  
  • Act as the most senior conduit for the business area to other Cyber functions within Technology and Operations.  
  • Contribute to ongoing Cyber security initiatives and improvements within the business area.  
  • Guide the Security Solution architects in the Secure@Design phase and ensure they are aligned to the needs of the business area.  
  • Support the Cyber and Line 1 Risk governance teams with Cyber risk analysis and high-level recommendations 
  • Develop partnerships (internal and external) to support consulting and advisory services. 

 

This is a permanent opportunity, and the role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. 

 

 

ABOUT YOU  

 


•    Strong technical capability across Cyber Security domains 
•    Experience in delivering technical solutions. 
•    Ability to set strategy and adjust course as needed. 
•    Ability to build strong relationships with the business, Government, Academia and       Regulatory bodies. 
•    Demonstrated vendor management with strong influencing and negotiation experience. 
•    Demonstrated ability in dealing with ambiguity and responding to change. 
•    Demonstrated experience working with and advising senior stakeholders. 
•    Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Demonstrated experience in managing multiple streams of work. 
•    Experience operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to influence and drive outcomes.
