Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter/ Senior Underwriter to join our CGU, Underwritten Lines Division in Western Australia. This role will have a focus on Liability Insurance and will revolve around building and developing relationships within the broker segment in the WA market.
As a Liability Underwriter, you’ll build and develop relationships with both internal and external customers including broker visitations and servicing a portfolio. You’ll determine the acceptability, conditions and pricing of routine moderate to complex insurance risks and agree on coverage within business strategy, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, product offerings and more.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Underwriter/ Senior Underwriter to join a great local team and specialise in Stand Alone Liability under the CGU brand.
This is a permanent position with flexible working arrangement, based in West Perth only.
About You
- Solid experience in underwriting or broking
- Knowledge and awareness of insurance legal and regulatory environment
- Proven current knowledge of the general insurance industry
- Insurance qualification preferred e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV or in the process of working towards
- Team oriented and collaborative with all stakeholders
