YOUR ROLE

As the SAP Finance Techno-Functional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple programs of work, driving the complex SAP Finance transformation. Leading a well-equipped program, you’ll embrace Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality outcomes, support documentation, and ensure code quality while fostering strong team principles.

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, maintaining, and delivering solutions that enhance the customer experience. Your tasks will include designing robust and maintainable code, improving coding standards, and recommending improvements.

Mentoring developers, leading teams, and supporting agile and continuous delivery principles will be essential in your role. You’ll ensure that technical design decisions align with architectural principles and provide technical guidance and recommendations using industry-leading tools.

This is the permanent role open for Sydney or Melbourne location.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an SAP Finance Techno-Functional Lead who is a proven team player, ready to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment, with experience in the insurance industry and proficiency in as many of the following areas:

• 13+ years relevant SAP Finance Functional IT industry experience in within a complex technology operating environment
• Strong and proven multiple SAP ECC / S4 HANA and SAP Reinsurance implementation and support experience
• Solid proven ECC/S4 HANA and FSCD/PSCD integration experience with the wider enterprise applications.
• Sound understanding or working knowledge with Guidewire/Policy Center/ Billing Center or Claim Center systems
• Sound understanding of technical aspects of SAP Finance technology
• Extensive experience developing digital and enterprise SAP Finance/Insurance/FSCD applications
• Experience in a continuous delivery environment including automation
• Working knowledge of Agile and Project Management Methodologies
• Proven success in improving quality, continuous improvement in a technology organisation
• Extensive experience in systems integration and Environment Management
• Proven ability to implement generic, re-usable solutions, components or frameworks, including appropriate documentation and training
• Knowledge across architecture disciplines, application development methodologies, tools and modern DevOps
• Proven experience in business and IT relationship management; working in/with matrix structures and influencing senior business and technology leaders
