Create Impact as a MuleSoft Technical Lead
Your Role
As a MuleSoft Tech Lead you will create, improve and maintain the design and code of your system. This is a role which brings together people leadership and technical expertise. Provide technical leadership to technical teams, ensuring collaboration and high performance while staying 50% hand-on
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and deployment of integrations to external broker platforms and other relevant integrations to support IAG’s intermediated brands
- Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure and reusable MuleSoft API’s
- Champion CI/CD best practices and DevOps methodologies for seamless deployments
- Estimate work at various stages of maturity within agreed error margins
- Develop and lead processes and practices that lead to high quality outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for MuleSoft APIs
- Reviewing code to ensure it implements design and adheres to standards
- Mentoring team members to develop them
- Proven experience working with vendors and managing external relationships
- Stakeholder expertise, particularly facing into large transformation programs
- A deep understanding of end-to-end technology solutions, including system upgrades, integrations and deployments
This is a permanent hybrid role for a candidate based anywhere in Australia.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Mulesoft Lead
- Proven experience delivering integration solutions in complex environments
- Strong Java coding skills with RESTful APIs and design patterns
- Experience with application integration using queues and messages
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and modern security practices
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven experience leading technical teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins/Bamboo etc
- Experience with observability tools like NewRelic and Splunk
- Agile methodologies experience, using tools like Confluence and Jira
- Relevant tertiary degree
