About the Role

We’re embarking on an engineering transformation that will enable the rapid, secure, and resilient delivery of innovative digital products to market, ensuring our customers enjoy an exceptional digital experience.

 

As a Change Manager in the Engineering Excellence team, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing large-scale engineering changes within IAG.  This role is critical in ensuring the smooth implementation of our engineering transformation while delivering on the strategy to uplift engineering capability, with a strong focus on the experience and well-being of our people.

You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and departments to gain support for change initiatives. The role involves conducting impact assessments, developing mitigation plans, and contributing to the definition of change objectives and success metrics.

Additionally, you will support the improvement of the change management practice within engineering.

 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, and we welcome applicants from Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Sydney).

 

About You

We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in managing major technical changes, a people-first approach, and strong relationship-building skills.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Excellent experience in change management, with a focus on large-scale changes within engineering or technology environments
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience coaching and influencing at various stakeholder levels to achieve outcomes required for the change
  • Experience in delivering Technology change and communication strategies in large and complex environments, including training material.
  • Knowledge and experience in using communications and engagement tools (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)
  • Ability to tailor change management approaches to suit different teams and situations.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to improve or enhance our change management practice at IAG.
