Your Role 

Part of the Professional Risks Underwritten Lines team within Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA), you’ll join a high-performing team that underwrites professional risks, including those of a large and complex nature within authority and negotiate individual terms for individual accounts so that a balanced and profitable portfolio of Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers risks is achieved. You’ll enjoy being part of an established brand, streamlined technology & systems, and a caring, supportive team culture.

You’ll be tasked with delivering high-quality underwriting and class-leading levels of customer service, growing the portfolio through relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.

This is a permanent role, and we welcome applicants from all major cities in Australia.  

About You 

• 5+ years underwriting or brokerage experience in financial lines / professional risks products
• Proven experience in high-quality underwriting of professional risks to achieve profitable results.
• Strong relationship-building skills with brokers and internal teams, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members to foster their development and growth.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Pricing and Portfolio Management.
