Mō te Tūranga | About the Role


As Manager, Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering efficient, confidential, and precise support to the Executive General Manager (EGM) within the Insurance Platform division of Technology & Operations. Your role is pivotal in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the EGM by providing seamless administrative assistance, fostering trustworthy relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of critical priorities and initiatives. Additionally, you will lead a team of assistants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional administrative support services. 


This is an 8 month Max term contract position and can be based in Australia (East Coast) or Auckland, New Zealand.

To be successful in this exciting role, you will be a highly experienced, high performing EA, who is agile, logical and relishes working in a fast-paced work environment. You will have demonstrated experience as a capable people leader, with proven ability to lead and manage a community of PA’s, providing ongoing career and capability development, performance management and mentorship to further grow and develop their careers. You will also;
•    Have a clear and concise communication style and your ability to remain calm under pressure will be highly regarded as will your ability to deal with complex situations; steering yourself and others to achieve results.
•    Be known for your collaborative approach, your can-do attitude, and your strong interpersonal skills.
•    Building trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders comes second nature to you.
•    Have exceptional attention to detail and possess a high degree of business acumen
•    Proactively identify challenges and opportunities keeping the leadership team informed to ensure timely response.
•    Proven ability to drive culture and engagement that leads to successful operational performance.
•    Technologically adept, you will have mastered the full Microsoft Suite and ideally have experience in other applications such as SharePoint, OneNote, Teams and Jira
