Mō te Tūranga | About the Role 

 

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Executive Assistant to support one of our Executive General Managers who has experience providing outstanding support; intuitive enough to pre-empt issues and remaining one step ahead of the game.

 

As an EA, you’ll partner with the EGM to provide efficient and proactive administration support, including complex diary and inbox management, reporting, meeting agendas and minutes, leave management, travel management and coordination of correspondence.

 

Each day will be varied and fast paced, but with your solid experience of providing support at a similar level, you'll take it in your stride and excel at developing the role and making it your own.

 

This is a full-time permanent role, based in Auckland.  Your role will be mainly office-based, with some work from home flexibility.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a highly experienced Personal Assistant looking for the next step in your career or perhaps you are a seasoned EA seeking a change of scene. Either way, you will be a high performer, agile, logical and relish working in a fast-paced work environment.

 

You’ll be a superstar at multi-tasking with a skill for creating order and structure amongst the buzz of a busy team. With great communication skills you will be able to build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a high level of professionalism. You will be known for your ability to anticipate the needs of your EGM and the leadership team ahead of time. You will also demonstrate:

 

  • Proven senior experience providing support to Executives in a corporate environment.
  • Experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks and functions within an office environment
  • Strong word processing, presentation and spreadsheet skills as well as proficiency with the Microsoft suite of office products
  • Effective workload management and timely delivery of commitments
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • Proactive thinking and confident to make decisions
