Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

 

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our Agency operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your contribution will be instrumental in upholding our internal processes and ensuring that all business is conducted within established parameters. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll work closely with both our Agencies and broader IAG teams to align processes with our risk principles. Your responsibilities will include active participation in underwriting and governance meetings, facilitating discussions, and even leading meetings when necessary. Additionally, you'll follow up on action items, mitigate risks, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with our governance frameworks.


This is a dynamic role with a market-facing aspect, your meticulous planning and reporting skills will be crucial in maintaining oversight and ensuring that all controls are adhered to. Continuous improvement is a key focus, and you'll play a hands-on role in gradually enhancing our processes and procedures.


This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to any IAG office locations in New Zealand, with a preference for Auckland.


Ōu Pūkenga | About You

 

In order to be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:


•    3 years underwriting or claims experience
•    Experience managing key Agency stakeholders
•    Working knowledge of delegated underwriting authority structure
•    ANZIIF Associate / Senior Associate (preferred)
•    Working knowledge of IAG reporting systems (preferred)
